PCCHE CO-OP REGISTRATION INFORMATION-Spring 2012
CO-OP REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!!!! PLEASE CHECK BACK WITH US IN JULY FOR FALL LISTINGS.Mandatory Orientation for families that did not attend in the fall! If you missed the orientation on Dec. 29, please plan on attending the make up session on the first day of co-op, February 6 @ 11:30am. This will be held in the sanctuary at Spring Creek Baptist Church. All families (at least one parent) participating in co-op classes must attend. Students will be required to remain with parent during meeting time.
WHO: Your family must be a current member of the Parker County Christian Home Educators (PCCHE) support group in order to participate in the co-op classes. Applications can be obtained on the website at www.parkercountyhomeschool.org. Please send a separate check for membership fees of $15 per family per school year. In addition to membership, each adult family member (18 or older) involved with your homeschooling venture, specifically parents and grandparents that will be on campus or field trips, will need to submit a background check fee of $10 per adult. This will be a one time procedure as long as your family retains current membership in good standing with PCCHE.
WHAT: The PCCHE Co-op has grown into what could be classified as two separate groups. First, we offer classes that are available without a teacher's fee. These classes are in the true sense “cooperative” and therefore require the participation of parents. Parents of students wanting to take advantage of these classes and are not already signed up to teach, must be on site and will be assigned to help in a designated area for each hour that your student is taking a class. There will be no “drop off” students. Secondly, we offer classes that require a monthly or “by the semester” teacher's fee. For these classes the students will be allowed to attend classes without parent's participation. If the student is under 12, however, there will need to be a parent on site. The said parent will not be required to work, but we feel for us to take full responsibility of a student under 12 would not be wise. We will have a waiver available that can be signed and would allow responsibility for your young student to be assigned to an adult of your choice that is on site.
WHERE: Spring Creek Baptist Church, 100 Spring Creek Rd., Weatherford, TX 76087

Late registrations are subject to a $10 late fee and will be accepted until January 31.
